Exactly what you should wear on a first date will surprise you
We are SO down with this.
The jittery butterflies, sweaty palms, scrambled thoughts – preparing for a first date is tough. But choosing what to wear on the first date is no easy feat, either. You definitely don’t want to dress too casually, but you also don’t want to whip out all your designer gear. It's not easy, we know.
But, turns out, the best option is probably one you haven't considered: head-to-toe activewear. Yes, really.
Zoosk conducted a survey of more than 7000 users and examined more than a million profiles, to determine what singles thought of athleisure.
Turns out, male respondents were 75 per cent supportive of the attire choice, while women were 59 per cent in favour for it.
Sounds like a cinch, but we then enter the world of activewear decisions: tank top or tee? Track shorts or leggings? Running shoes or training shoes? Which coloured crop top?
To make life a whole lot easier, men simply love leggings, with 46 per cent of item ranking them as the most attractive piece of activewear. They weirdly also have a thing for spandex. (Why, we cannot say.)
As for women, yoga pants took out the top stop (18 per cent), followed by basketball shorts at 17 per cent.
And to make your online profile extra appealing, make sure to dress head-to-toe in activewear and sprinkle mentions of guacamole and veganism in your bio (no jokes) to improve your chances online. Let us know how you go, would you?
